Incoming calls need presence without stealing the whole screen. The shell wiggles softly, then grows or shrinks depending on whether you join, defer, or dismiss.
Active state trades the invite layout for a timed session surface: wave backdrop, timer, and icon controls with shared tooltips so the cluster stays readable.
Reject or end the call and it reopens after a beat — useful for rehearsing the full loop without resetting the page.
